John Stewart on Contraception Mandate’s Opponents: “Hitler Didn’t Kick off With Insurance Reform”
Jon Stewart took on Fox News for comparing Obama’s contraception mandate to Nazi persecution, and skewered Sean Hannity’s panel of religious leaders - all men - which Stewart called a “holy sausage fest.”
Stewart: When the Nazis came for people, they also left with them. It was not a metaphor… Hitler did not “start small.” His deliberate annihilation of a religion didn’t kick off with insurance reform.”
This government hates religious organizations so much it lets them keep $100 billion a year in offerings tax free. Persecute my ass like that.
You’ve confused a war on religion with Not Always Getting Everything You Want.
Watch it here.
